If you think about it, you will realize that it is just simply not possible to wake up one morning and say to yourself that you would like to have a lean, fat free stomach and that you can achieve this by some easy method like starving yourself or eating a whole bunch of junk food then exercising for 10 minutes a day.

Full Body Dumbbell Workout Best For Six Pack Abs

In my opinion, a full body dumbbell workout is the best exercise program for developing six pack abs. Unfortunately, hardly anyone uses dumbbells to develop strong abdominals you can see. In this article, I'll show you the error of your ways.

Carving out six pack abs you can see is a strong motivating force for many a man and woman. But the problem is, the desire is so strong people often don't think rationally when putting a plan into action. They want six pack abs, and they want them yesterday. This leads to making poor decisions, which often lead to a lot of wasted time and money.

I'll be honest with you...

- Those gadgets you see on late night television don't work
- "Isolating" your abs are ineffective for your goal and a waste of time
- Anything that claims to be "fast and easy" is a waste of money

Getting a six pack is just like any other goal. Stop letting emotion drive your decisions. Let's take a deep breath and look at this logically. I'm sure once we do this, you'll conclude that a full body dumbbell workout is your best bet for a six pack you can see, as I have.

There are three things you must do if you want to see your six pack:

1) You must build muscle all over your body
2) You must strengthen your core muscles
3) You must lose fat

If you do all three of these things, you'll develop abdominals you can see.

Building muscle all over your body not only helps you look better, but muscle is metabolically expensive. This means your body must use more calories to maintain a higher percentage of muscle, and therefore leaves less calories to be converted into fat. So, you not only build an attractive body, but also create a situation where the bigger muscles help you reach your goal of a visible six pack. A full body dumbbell workout builds muscles all over your body.

Obviously, stronger and bigger abdominal muscles are necessary to achieve the abdominal look you desire. But stop relying on "isolation" exercises like crunches and leg raises to get the job done. A dumbbell workout puts emphasis on the core muscles with every exercise. This means every exercise is an ab exercise.

No matter how much muscle you put on or how strong and big your abdominal muscles, no one will ever see them if they are covered with fat. You must get rid of the fat around your middle to make the muscles underneath visible. And a dumbbell workout, done correctly, burns a lot of fat.

Think of it this way. You want to perform a workout that builds muscle, strengthens the core and burns fat at the same time. This is the most effective method for getting the result you want. If your entire workout does these three things, it is the fastest way to build abs you can see.

So, spend more time doing a full body dumbbell workout instead of doing those "isolation" exercises and you'll build more muscle, strengthen your core and burn off more fat. This is what you need to spend your time doing if you ever hope to see your six pack. So, pick up a pair of dumbbells and get busy!

Six Pack Abs A Myth?

You see it on television, magazines, and posters everywhere. Those perfectly symmetrical six pack abs. Can this actually be attainable?

The answer is, obviously, YES! You can have six packs and they can be a part of your reality. However, you must realize that getting six packs is no walk in the park. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and, of course, eating right.

Although many of those models are genetically gifted to having six packs, many have to go through intense diets to get the way they look. It's their job! I have a friend that tried being a model and couldn't do it because he didn't have the will power to diet right.

I'm not discouraging attempting to get six packs like those shown on advertisements. One must realize, however, that having six packs means having very low body fat levels. Around 10% is the level that your six packs will begin showing up. Getting to this level will probably be the very last process of weight loss. So in any weight loss program expect to get the abs last, not first. Don't be discouraged.

Working out to get abs is not as important as diet. Bodybuilders often state that six packs aren't made in the gym but are made in the kitchen. This is absolutely true. You can't lose weight by working out and eating whatever you want. Cutting calories is essential in any goal of having muscular definition in the abdominal area.

As for abdominal specific exercises. I feel that people already know the fact that abs exercises won't make your abs show up but let me mention it in case you don't know. Abdominal exercises do build your abs. However, having muscles and having muscles that show is totally different. Everyone knows the big guy that feels like he's so buff since he weighs around 200 pounds. However, to everyone else he is just fat. Sure he can bench press twice his weight but his body fat levels are so high that his muscle is hidden.

Another thing about abs is that they vary for different people. Some people may have symmetrical abs and others may have different types. Take a look at various bodybuilders during contests and you'll notice how every bodybuilder has different looking abs. Strange but true. Don't expect your abs to look like your favorite celebrity or model. Having goals like that is not smart. Rather, set goals like "having abs". That's a lot easier to attain than having "Brad Pitt's abs in 'Fight Club'".

Crunch Away Pounds - The Abs Diet Plan

Since there are so many diets out there, after a while the seasoned dieter thinks there can't possibly be a new option. Before long, you've tried every major dieting plan, and you know the effects that each has on your body. You're left thinking there couldn't possibly be something new to learn, which is where the abs diet plan comes in. Although the concept of losing weight through exercise is old hat, the abs diet plan offers a new take, with no "magic pills" in sight!

Essentially, the abs diet contends that the body uses energy on a regular basis simply keeping its muscles and internal organs in good working order. So, each time you add to your muscle mass, this necessitates that your body expend more energy. Instead of cutting back on your daily food intake to lose weight, the abs diet plan simply asks you to increase your energy level, what they call the "energy bill," above the normal level. Then, the calories your body would normally store as fat are absorbed by the extra muscle mass. This also requires the body to burn the fat already on hand to keep up with the demand for energy.

For each pound of extra muscle you add, the body burns 50 additional calories per day. So you do the math: 10 additional pounds of muscle = 500 calories of your daily intake, every single day, which translates into losing 1 pound per week. Notice also that this diet works on a "snowball" effect: the more you exercise, the more muscle tone you add, the faster you lose weight. With the extra muscle tone and shy those extra pounds, you are then able to exercise harder and lose even more weight! Once the "snowball" gets rolling, it can turn into an avalanche with minimal additional output.

As far as food intake, you are able to eat 12 nutrient-rich "power" foods, which provide all necessary vitamins, minerals, and fiber for your 6-week diet. These 12 foods include: beans and peas, spinach (and a few other green veggies), almonds, instant hot oat cereal, wholegrain breads and cereals, berries, eggs, low-fat dairy products, lean meats like turkey, peanut butter, olive oil, and protein powder. Unfortunately, all other foods must not just be "avoided" the way you might normally "avoid" fast food (except for that once a week trip to McDonald's) but shunned during the diet.

Although it may seem difficult to sign on for this diet for the long-haul, especially if 6 weeks sounds like a long time to you, the required exercises should make a huge difference. You will not only lose weight, but you will also be sporting some firm abs - maybe even your first six-pack - and a generally well-toned body. Since part of the fat is replaced by muscle, even if you feel like you're not losing weight, you should at least be replacing fat with muscle. And you should be rid of up to 12 pounds in the first two weeks of the abs diet plan!

The Truth About Six Pack Abs Review - Is There Any Truth In Mike Geary's Book

It seems that every day we get an e-mail promising to make us rich, thin or show us how to develop the perfect set of six pack abs. Most of it is pure hype and if you fall for it, then I have a beautiful beach front property I want to sell you in the everglades...

Generally speaking, anytime you get an email saying they can show you how to achieve "six pack abs" you might as well click delete, most likely it will be a waste of time and money and your abs will remain hidden but folds of... well you catch my drift.

If it sounds like I have a cynical attitude, I do, more than once I've paid for an ebook that promised the moon (results) and only delivered a reflection (an empty promise). So when I looked at the book "The Truth About Six Pack Abs", I'll be honest, I figured it would be loaded with hype, and wouldn't accomplish anything close to what it said... I was dead wrong and I've got the abs to prove it... Yeah!

For me, when someone cut through the BS and tells the truth, they are someone I admire, that's the way I live my life. So when Mike Geary took a carefully aimed shot at the "diet industry", basically ripping them a new one... I sat up and took notice. For years we've been fed a line of... (you know what) telling us about diet pills and what they could do for us... WRONG! Now I'm no saint, and I've taken a diet pill (or many) over the years... and guess what... THEY WORKED. Yep just as long as I didn't mind popping pills, I'd keep losing weight. But what about when the pills ran out... then what? Well I tell you what, the weight crept back on, in fact I weighed more than when I started. From that moment on, I swore of pills and you should too.

The Truth About Six Pack Abs isn't full of hype, it doesn't promised anything that can't be accomplished by you, or anyone who DECIDES that now is the time to change their life for the better. Instead of hype, you'll learn how the average person, without resorting to extremes can lose weight, get healthy and stay in shape; now that's a plan.

This isn't some throw away book, you'll zip through then bury somewhere on your hard drive... NO WAY! You'll turn it time and time again... it's packed full and is over ONE HUNDRED PAGES, 106 pages to be exact. And each page gives you cutting edge information about getting in shape, staying in shape and training your abs.

It also discusses a few things you might not have considered; did you know that having excess stomach (abdominal) fat can be hazardous to your health? Yikes! I'm glad I found it, and you will be too, this book dives right in, not pulling any punches.

It's not myth, it's fact that if we keep ourselves health and stay lean and exercise, we have a good possibility of not only living longer, but remaining healthy enough to enjoy it; now that IS important. The Truth About Abs e-book isn't full of marketing hype, and it doesn't endorse the latest and greatest fad(s), it simply tells the truth about getting and staying ripped for life.

What's the final verdict of the truth about abs review?

For me... Before I found this book, not only was I a skeptic, I was also confused. About what? About all the fads, diets, crazes that are being peddled; it's malarkey, BS and while I certainly endorse freedom of speech, c'mon guys... give it break, tell the truth for once.

Well the truth is exactly where "The Truth About Six Pack Abs" rises to the occasion; showing you exactly what your body needs (and in what combinations) to perform at its optimum level. Folks... I'm all about health and fitness, and if something is BS, I'm going tell you, but this book is truly a break through and I encourage you to take a serious informed look.

Who needs this book? You do! I don't care of your man, woman or child, everyone can benefit form what you'll learn in "The Truth About Six Pack Abs". There's some mind blowing info inside these jammed pack 106 pages, information that can change you from a couch potato, to a lean mean ab ripping machine.

What do you have to lose by looking at this book? Not money, that for sure, like any reputable company, they offer GURARANTEED SATISFACTION, if it doesn't work (but it does) they'll give your money back.... But guys and gals, you're not going to want a refund, not when you look in the mirror and see that ripped set of six packs.

Abs By Summer

So if you're like most of us you have been longing for a visible set of abs for as long as you can remember. I know for a fact I was after that elusive ripped mid-section for years. With all the information that is out there it seems like an overwhelming task that will never happen. Between the media, all the fitness magazines highlighting models with perfect genetics and the constant onslaught of ab gizmos guaranteed to bring results in minutes a day, its enough to make you want to throw in the towel and run for the nearest fast food joint.

There is a lot of good news and some bad news.

Bad news first: A really nice defined midsection is the result of hard work and commitment to a fairly strict diet plan.

Now for the good news: It is not impossible and probably easier than you might think to bring out your much-anticipated "Six Pack".

This two-step process is guaranteed to bring results; the only variable as to your outcome will be how much you work versus how much you cheat.

First things first............. Your diet will need to be as close to perfect as you can stand. Best results will be had by those who can eliminate sugars and processed foods and replace them with high quality proteins (chicken, fish, turkey and protein powders) and plenty of whole grains and fibrous carbs.

· Get rid of all soda and alcohol in your diet, these are empty calories and actually work against your fitness goals.
· Add more protein to your diet. This one is too easy.
· Try to stick to whole grains (whole wheat breads and pitas for sandwiches).
· Fibrous carbs (with regards to vegetables - the greener the better).
· Water - 8 glasses a day is the minimum. More if you exercise.

Second, Ab exercises: You may not believe this, although this is the least of your worries. Diet is much more important when it come to a lean midsection than what or how many ab crunches you do.

Most of the people I know with really defined abs tell me that they never even do a single crunch or leg lift. I am not sure I believe them when they tell me this although I am sure it is not too far from the truth.

You can get away with doing a couple of exercises three times a week and see very nice results.

I would suggest doing an exercise for your Rectus Abdominis (middle and upper abs), another for your lower abs and at least one stretching movement.

There are tons of exercises I could name, although the ones that work best seem to also be the easiest to perform. The standard Crunch for upper abs will always get the trick done and can be done anywhere, so there is never any excuse not to do them.

· Try to perform three sets to failure.

Leg raises for your lower abs not only hit the abs well, they will also force you to keep your lower back tight, thus killing two birds with one stone.

· Also three sets to failure.

I would suggest to stretch the entire abdominal wall after each workout. This will keep your midsection tight and limber for years to come.

So to wrap things up, getting the abs of your dreams is not nearly as impossible as you might think and can become a reality if you are willing to put in some work on the diet and complete a few exercises per week.

Please remember to keep it simple and always stay positive in reaching your goals.

Make sure to always consult a licensed physician before taking on any new fitness endeavor.

What is best Abs Workout?

The answer to the age-old question of "How can I lose stomach fat using Abs?" The answer is; None! Abs workouts alone don't create enough of a metabolic response in your body to create fat loss

I have been asked many times while working out what are the best exercises for losing stubborn fat to show off a great six pack. Everyone is looking for a miracle Abs workout that will slash their fat in no time.

The problem is they are going about it in the wrong way, you do NOT lose stomach fat just by doing Abs workouts.

The best answer I can give is to include full body exercises including, squats, lunges, deadlifts, pressups, snatches, swings, sprinting, etc. etc.

You must combine those full body exercises into a workout that maximizes your metabolism. However I do recommend a certain amount of exercises that directly target the abs and core, but these should only be a small part of your workout as your time is better spent focusing on the full body exercises that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes within the body. Keep in mind that the most important factor for losing belly fat to see your abs is actually in the nutrition arena. There is no alternative but to combine your hard workouts with a healthy diet. No matter how hard you workout, if your diet is full of rubbish foods, then your abdominals will be covered with ugly fat. Nutrition is without a doubt the number one priority for gaining a six pack.
