Full Body Dumbbell Workout Best For Six Pack Abs

In my opinion, a full body dumbbell workout is the best exercise program for developing six pack abs. Unfortunately, hardly anyone uses dumbbells to develop strong abdominals you can see. In this article, I'll show you the error of your ways.

Carving out six pack abs you can see is a strong motivating force for many a man and woman. But the problem is, the desire is so strong people often don't think rationally when putting a plan into action. They want six pack abs, and they want them yesterday. This leads to making poor decisions, which often lead to a lot of wasted time and money.

I'll be honest with you...

- Those gadgets you see on late night television don't work
- "Isolating" your abs are ineffective for your goal and a waste of time
- Anything that claims to be "fast and easy" is a waste of money

Getting a six pack is just like any other goal. Stop letting emotion drive your decisions. Let's take a deep breath and look at this logically. I'm sure once we do this, you'll conclude that a full body dumbbell workout is your best bet for a six pack you can see, as I have.

There are three things you must do if you want to see your six pack:

1) You must build muscle all over your body
2) You must strengthen your core muscles
3) You must lose fat

If you do all three of these things, you'll develop abdominals you can see.

Building muscle all over your body not only helps you look better, but muscle is metabolically expensive. This means your body must use more calories to maintain a higher percentage of muscle, and therefore leaves less calories to be converted into fat. So, you not only build an attractive body, but also create a situation where the bigger muscles help you reach your goal of a visible six pack. A full body dumbbell workout builds muscles all over your body.

Obviously, stronger and bigger abdominal muscles are necessary to achieve the abdominal look you desire. But stop relying on "isolation" exercises like crunches and leg raises to get the job done. A dumbbell workout puts emphasis on the core muscles with every exercise. This means every exercise is an ab exercise.

No matter how much muscle you put on or how strong and big your abdominal muscles, no one will ever see them if they are covered with fat. You must get rid of the fat around your middle to make the muscles underneath visible. And a dumbbell workout, done correctly, burns a lot of fat.

Think of it this way. You want to perform a workout that builds muscle, strengthens the core and burns fat at the same time. This is the most effective method for getting the result you want. If your entire workout does these three things, it is the fastest way to build abs you can see.

So, spend more time doing a full body dumbbell workout instead of doing those "isolation" exercises and you'll build more muscle, strengthen your core and burn off more fat. This is what you need to spend your time doing if you ever hope to see your six pack. So, pick up a pair of dumbbells and get busy!

Will The Abs Best Workout Be Enough?

You may say you've lost 12 lbs in 5 days and that's a lot. You can easily say you got it all thinned down. However, the question is did you lose all the unwanted waist fats the healthy way?

If you have been working out excessively in order to attain your ideal weight in the shortest time possible, you may just be wasting your time. Even the latest and most popular abs best workout in the world cannot guarantee you the best fitness if not done right.

The objective of getting rid of those flabby waist fats is because you want to look good and be healthy. Just as too much fat in your body is bad, too much of the exercise is not any different. Getting the abs best workout doesn't only mean doing the crunches and build muscles in your tummy. It also means doing it at the right intervals and with the right nutrition or diet.

Just get the feel of how often or how regularly you should workout. Usually, it is recommended least three times a week. That is also done every other day. The most preferable time would be during early mornings when stored fats have piled up in your waist area. When doing the exercise, it is also important to balance your muscles. Your muscles need to warm up and in between workout sets, it needs to relax.

Nutrition also plays an important role in body fitness. While you're doing the abs best workout building your muscles, you also need the energy to help you with it. Eating the right food is the key to provide you with protein, vitamins and minerals your body needs. Every time you sweat, your body is using up energy. The energy is coming from your body fats.

The right amount of fat is also an important component in our body. But just the right amount is what is required. An excess of that is not useful and most often make the human unproductive and lazy. Stored fats, if unused may result to heart attack and other diseases may also develop. The blockage in arteries causes this heart problem. And this blockage is caused by fats that have not been utilized properly.

So it must be a combination of both exercise and proper diet. Knowledge about what kind of food to eat and how to prepare them is also required in good health and shape. While you keep yourself with the right nutrition, you build abdominal muscles with a couple of abs best workout. Muscles help a lot in burning the calories that result to stored fats if unused. Know what exercise that should work for you.

Looking good is only one of the results of good exercise and right diet. Most workout procedures target the abs because most of the fat deposits are stored in that area. If the human body doesn't exercise, fats from food will keep on piling up. Eventually it will result to flabby waist fats. So now, use those stored fats out and burn them.

Having A Baby And The Six Pack Abs - Inside And Out

Many women, when they have given birth, find it increasingly hard to rebuild or restructure the abdominal region. I have always felt that a woman's abdominal structure is truly one of the most impressive forms of the human body.

I also know, through my research that many women not only find it hard to re-vamp their abs but also, internally. There is a little topic I like a lot called - Kegels.

The book - AbMetrics - focuses a great deal on the internal physiology for both men and women and the need to be 'aware' of the internal workings and feel of your abdominals as you do any midsection/trunk exercise.

The Kegel - named after Dr. Arnold Kegel - primarily focuses attention on the pelvic floor muscle.

Up until the kegel exercise was created, women had to either put up with urinary stress incontinence (the inability to prevent urination when laughing or jumping or other forms of exertion) or risk a possible surgery - which often did not work.

So, what I now help my clients train for is both internal as well as external focus.

Basically, men and women can benefit from this type of focus. Women, for the above reasons, but men also - and the exercise can also have proven effect upon a male's ejaculatory response.

But back to the abdominal and trunk exercises - women who have recently given birth should definately understand this simple process and the exercises it involves to not only give them well defined and strengthened abdominals, but internally, strengthen the muscles that can really be affected during pregnancy.

Tristan Lewis is a Certified Fitness Professional, Personal Trainer and Author of the most informative book on abdominal training on the internet. He has travelled the world training clients and has spent 15 years in over 15 Countries in the research of his book. His AbMetrics - The Global Almanac of Proven Abdominal Training was researched thoroughly and provides many new and exciting proven abdominal exercises as well as a structuring of the 'classics' that work. Getting Hard Abs Is Easier Than You Think

Hard abs are the holy grail of most young men. Growing up, being the one in school with six pack abs earns you a certain amount of respect both from other guys, and girls. That respect doesn't go away as you grow older either, since achieving hard abs when you're a little older is usually considered a harder task. Being able to get changed in the gym or swimming pool and show off your hard abs six pack is a fantastic feeling, and one that never gets old. To see a girl's face light up and watch her do a double take at your hard abs and six pack will bring a smile to your lips every time.

Many people want hard abs, and many people are teaching how to get hard abs. They might tell you things like:

+ do hundreds of crunches a day
+ use expensive electronic ab belts
+ take my special vitamin pills
+ buy this expensive ab equipment
+ drink this magic ab potion

But they're all wrong. You might be running 10 miles a day, doing a million crunches a day and taking dozens of pills and potions and still not seeing hard abs develop.

Hard abs will come naturally with a few basic techniques that don't involve complicated equipment, fad diets or silly numbers of crunches, and here's why. Your body doesn't need all that junk. It is naturally capable of developing hard abs if you stimulate it in the proper way. Bodybuilders train very specifically to correctly stimulate the right muscles so they react in a certain way, whether that be for growth or strength.

What you need for hard abs is a routine and lifestyle that will encourage your body to gradually develop stronger, firmer muscles around your core. You need to put stress on your core muscles and then eat the right foods to allow your body to develop your abs so that next time the same stress is applied, you can cope with it.

Now I don't mean do a million situps or to put a car on your chest and try to lift it. Hard abs come from strengthening your core muscles, so you need to work your entire abdomen with power moves, or compound exercises. These exercises should concentrate on several muscle groups at once, and promote strength development within your abs. That means there's no need to do hundreds of crunches, because if you can do that many then it's too easy.

To get hard abs quickly, perform exercises like the bicycle crunch, alternate twisting situps, decline bench situps and so on. These power exercises are difficult to do, but your abs will react by becoming stronger and hardening. Once you lose a bit of bodyfat, your hard six pack abs will shine through.

It's all very well getting your diet right, eating healthily and losing plenty of bodyfat so your abs are on show, but if you don't workout properly you'll never get flat or hard abs that look as good as the guys in the bodybuilding magazines. Abs Workouts For The Beginner

Before I wreck your body by giving you advice that will totally wreck the V shape you are really looking for, Let me say, if you have too much excess fat, you should focus on fat reduction and not enlarging your abdominal muscles. There is a lot of confusion about getting a ripped six pack and I can understand why, so let me clarify this exceptionally convoluted reality.

It is very counter intuitive. The truth often is. In this case, I point to the ab machine company's sensing the great demand for a nice set of abs, and inventing contraptions that actually kill what you are working for in the first place. It is confusing literally for people only because the answer is too easy. Being so easy, it is rejected by the "logic departments" of most sensible peoples minds.

I will give you a few work outs below but this article is really not about enlarging your abdominals. Why? Why would an article about abs exercises actually be telling you not to exercise the abs? Well, the answer lays in the symmetry of your physique and what you are really looking for. For men in particular, the shape of the attractive body is a nice V shape. Even if you don't want that body builders body, but to look more like "Brad Pit" for example, which most women would agree is very attractive. You still don't want to grow those abdominals. Here's why.

Increasing the size of the abdominals actually kills that sexy V shape that you should actually be seeking. The V shape of large (ish) shoulders and a very tight waist is actually what you are looking for. To increase the size of the abdominals too much actually gives one a square shape,. Not what you want! The smaller the waist, the wider the shoulders the better and more satisfactory your physique is to the eye. The eye uses a quick scan of a body and tends to linger around the abdominals. The reason for that is the very shape itself. It POINTS to your abdominals. The eye looks at the differential between the width of the shoulders and the smallness of the waist to ascertain whether the individual has a nice body. (I imagine I must be blowing your mind by now if you haven't heard of this before)

So here is my advice. Reduce fat. You can go on a limited calorie intake diet and drop a few pounds a week. Within a month you will be amazed how much detail will show on your belly. The second thing is to actually have detail on your belly. The eye tends to look for detail. A flat plain featureless area attracts the eye to the outer edges. What this does is create the optical illusion of the area being bigger than it actually is. So doing a certain amount of abdominal crunches and sit ups is required. However, to focus exclusively on the abs and enlarge this quite responsive muscle group, is a mistake. Making them bigger or enormous will kill the V shape that you are really seeking!
