Flatten That Stomach - Here's How To Get Amazing Abs

It's summer... but do we dare bare our body on the beach?

Maybe not this year! I need to lose some flab off my stomach.

Would you like to have great abs? Of course you would... that's not really the question is it? How to flatten that stomach and get great abs... that's what we want to know!

Oh! And while you're at it... make it easy. None of those tough workouts or diets!

There are lots of places for finding exercises that flatten the stomach:

You've already started with the internet and you'll find lots of resources here. But be warned... there are lots of very cruel people out there who lurk at gyms and will no doubt harass you into a life and death struggle with getting those six-pack abs. If that's what you're looking for then go for it. But with a little less total commitment and a little more time you can achieve a pretty decent looking body without all that pain.

Videos can be a real help.

With videos the music will move you along and you won't really notice the workout. What seemed like a struggle before becomes fun. Music is amazingly therapeutic.

Another great activity to flatten the stomach, if you have the time and money, is to join a gym or a fitness club. Here you can get help from trainers and have access to different types of equipment dedicated to your abs.

The real value of a fitness center is the group experience. It's fun to work in a group. You can join in the fitness sessions, join the line dancing classes (don't be fooled... line dancing can give you a pretty good workout) and you can form a group of like minded friends to support you.

And don't forget the library. The library is a great and often times overlooked place to find exercises that flatten the stomach. Especially if you're on a tight budget! You'll even find workout videos to borrow here.

But keep in mind... if you have a lot of flab on your tummy then exercise alone will take a long, long time to deal with that. No point having great abs if they're hidden under the flab.

Ideally you'd like an eating plan that would take off the weight without any pain or struggle.

I can show you how to do this!

If you're interested I can show you a plan to make this a reality in your life; you'll lose weight and you won't be hungry! We have recently written a book entitled "Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry" which lays out a plan for overcoming Carbohydrate addiction and losing weight.

You can download it FREE here: "Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry"

The Fastest Way To Get Six Pack Abs Effectively

We are all trying to aim for the fastest way to get a six pack abs effectively. And many people will choose to go to a fitness center to get a fit body. In the fitness center, most people would focus on getting a toned abdominal. One of the most effective ways of training abdominal muscles is to do crunching exercise. Research has shown that we should lift our legs between 30 to 45 degrees. Our hip muscles will begin to take charge of the crunch movement when we lift our legs beyond 30 degrees. Crunches with bent knees and unsupported legs maximize abdominal activity without risk to the lower back.

Focus on the quality of abdominal movement by doing the exercises slowly, with control. Try to visualize your abdominal muscles contracting tighter with each exercise, stressing the importance of the contraction. Try adding light hand held weights (2 to 4 lb) to some of the exercises only when you feel you really need that additional challenge.

During the design of an abdominal workout, choose between 5 to 10 exercises. Perform 8 repetitions of each exercise before going on to the next exercise. We should add variety to our workout every 2 to 3 weeks. This is to vary the type of muscle contraction used (shortening, lengthening, and static). Shortening contractions are more useful in training abdominal muscles than lengthening contractions.

Perform the abdominal exercises with accompanying music. Slow and controlled movement is the best when we exercise. When the music is too fast, we may not be able to perform each repetition to achieve its full effects. So we should never let the music dictate the tempo of the exercise.

It is important that we train our abdominal muscles at least 3 - 5 days per week. Unlike other muscles, we seldom fatigue the abdominal muscles enough so that they need an additional day to recover. So we should always do some abdominal exercise on a daily basis to counteract the excessive tightening of your lower back muscles and hip flexors. Although the abdominals are a troublesome spot for many people, these points will us to get the fastest way to get a six pack abs effectively.

Getting Hard Abs Is Easier Than You Think

Hard abs are the holy grail of most young men. Growing up, being the one in school with six pack abs earns you a certain amount of respect both from other guys, and girls. That respect doesn't go away as you grow older either, since achieving hard abs when you're a little older is usually considered a harder task. Being able to get changed in the gym or swimming pool and show off your hard abs six pack is a fantastic feeling, and one that never gets old. To see a girl's face light up and watch her do a double take at your hard abs and six pack will bring a smile to your lips every time.

Many people want hard abs, and many people are teaching how to get hard abs. They might tell you things like:

+ do hundreds of crunches a day
+ use expensive electronic ab belts
+ take my special vitamin pills
+ buy this expensive ab equipment
+ drink this magic ab potion

But they're all wrong. You might be running 10 miles a day, doing a million crunches a day and taking dozens of pills and potions and still not seeing hard abs develop.

Hard abs will come naturally with a few basic techniques that don't involve complicated equipment, fad diets or silly numbers of crunches, and here's why. Your body doesn't need all that junk. It is naturally capable of developing hard abs if you stimulate it in the proper way. Bodybuilders train very specifically to correctly stimulate the right muscles so they react in a certain way, whether that be for growth or strength.

What you need for hard abs is a routine and lifestyle that will encourage your body to gradually develop stronger, firmer muscles around your core. You need to put stress on your core muscles and then eat the right foods to allow your body to develop your abs so that next time the same stress is applied, you can cope with it.

Now I don't mean do a million situps or to put a car on your chest and try to lift it. Hard abs come from strengthening your core muscles, so you need to work your entire abdomen with power moves, or compound exercises. These exercises should concentrate on several muscle groups at once, and promote strength development within your abs. That means there's no need to do hundreds of crunches, because if you can do that many then it's too easy.

To get hard abs quickly, perform exercises like the bicycle crunch, alternate twisting situps, decline bench situps and so on. These power exercises are difficult to do, but your abs will react by becoming stronger and hardening. Once you lose a bit of bodyfat, your hard six pack abs will shine through.

It's all very well getting your diet right, eating healthily and losing plenty of bodyfat so your abs are on show, but if you don't workout properly you'll never get flat or hard abs that look as good as the guys in the bodybuilding magazines.
