An Ideal Healthy Nutrional Abs Dieting Plan

There is enough variation in the suggested foods in the abs diet for every person, and for every craving. Particular of these foods in the abs diet are 12 of the more beneficial ones, which, when properly incorporated into a meal plan, will give the body a well-balanced nutritional overhaul. Consequently, it is designed to fulfill several aims for the body, aims which differ from other known diet programs in the sense that they are thoroughly beneficial in the long run, and not mere quick fix, guilt-easing starving sessions.

The abs diet intends to build muscle through a sufficient protein intake. An increase protein leads to better muscle mass, which is the key to a leaner body, since the muscles give it its definition. The abs diet also promotes weight loss because all of its meal suggestions are low on fat and sugar, the culprits of obesity and a host of other complications.

There is also enough calcium to ensure that the bones are well taken care of; these minerals come from suggested portions of cheeses, milk, and vegetables. Since there is less fat in the meals, you will also be free from the preliminary causes of high blood pressure, and prevents you from developing heart disease and clogged arteries.

It has been proven that sufficient amounts of certain vegetables can help fight cancer, and this supports this fact by including a variety of veggies, such as carrots which contain beta-carotene and tomatoes which are rich in lycopene; these nutrients are known to help in the fight against certain forms of cancer.

Vegetables, fruit, and healthy protein also help in the strengthening of the immune system, so that you have the drive to keep on going throughout your program. Finally, the abs diet also has enough amount of dietary fiber in the meals to see to it that your body's accumulated toxins are effectively dealt with.

The Best Abs Crunch Exercise

This has got to be the most popular and asked question, ever. And it's also one without a real answer, since there are dozens of great abs crunch exercises. The best is a matter of continued debate and opinion, with personal trainers, bodybuilders, fitness experts, nutritionists, yoga instructors and hobbyists all arguing over which abs crunch exercise is the best.

Luckily, they do generally agree on a few things, which is that the best abs crunch exercise is actually a combination of several exercises rolled into one. This killer abs crunch exercise will work out your upper and lower abs (at least, it will work your rectus abdominis from several angles to ensure maximum fiber stimulation along the entire vertical length of the muscle, since isolation is impossible within a single muscle), it will attack your obliques, and promote size and strength of the entire abdominal section.

So here it is, the best abs crunch exercise. Be warned though, it's not for the faint of heart. If you want all in one, you have to be prepared to put in all your effort.

Lie on your back, and cup your hands behind your head. Lift your head off the ground, but don't use your hands to pull. They're just there for support - your abs should be the muscles doing the work. Next, bring your knees up to your chest. OK, that part was easy. Now comes the hard part.

Straighten out your right leg, keeping your foot 10-12 inches off the floor. Your left leg should stay where it is, bent with your knee up to your chest as far as is comfortable. As you straighten your right leg, lift your shoulder blades off the floor, lean forward and twist your upper torso so you touch your right elbow against your left knee. Feel the abs and obliques working?

To complete one repetition, you basically swap legs. Relax your shoulder blades back onto the floor, then draw your right knee back into your chest and simultaneously extend your left leg. As you do so, lift the shoulder blades off the floor and twist your upper torso the other way, touching your left elbow against your right knee as it reaches your chest. You should be doing a kind of bicycle motion with your legs, and twisting your torso left and right alternately whilst doing mini crunches. Perform 10-15 reps, then rest. After 90-120 seconds, do another set, and then another if you can manage it.

After doing a few sets of the best abs crunch exercise, you should be able to feel the effect all over your abs. The twisting works your obliques, the crunches work your upper abs and the bicycle legs work your lower abs, all at once. So there you have it. The best abs crunch exercise.

How To Get Abs

Many people, young and old, desire to know how to get abs. What if I told you that you already have abs? Well believe it or not, you do but there hiding. The reason you don’t see them or many of your other muscles is because they are surrounded by the very thing we hate the most, fat.

Let me end the confusion on how to get abs once and for all. I am speaking from many years of trial and expense so let me save you the time and money. Don’t buy fancy magic ab machines, please don’t buy the magic fat burner pill because it will do more harm than anything, and save your money that you would spend on those items to buy for the new clothes you will have to buy once you lose those inches!

How to get abs? Here you go... The main keys in order to lose that tire around your belly once and for all are to:

1. Be patient. You must tell yourself that this is not going to happen overnight. How long did it take you to get that tire? A long time. I am not saying that it will take you years to lose it because it won’t. As long as you are committed, you will lose the weight.

2. Discipline yourself. “Do or do not...there is no try” as Yoda says. Whatever you do, realize that this will not work without you sticking to this program. Unfortunately, they don’t sell discipline at the store. I wish they did. I would be the first in line!

3. Exercise. Depending on how fast you want to achieve your goal, I recommend working your abs out 3 times per week every other day. A good ab routine should take approximately 15-20 minutes from start to finish. So you shouldn’t complain that this is too demanding. Though there are many routines, you can start with the basic crunch. Slow and controlled movements are what we are after. Remember quality not quantity. I recommend 3 sets of 10 reps. Start there and work your ways up.

4. Do cardio. You can do many different exercises to lose the fat. They include running, walking, aerobic exercise, spinning, jump rope, basketball, swimming, or anything else that will get your heart rate into the targeted zone.

5. Eat right. Ok, I know, this one is probably the toughest one for many of us but it is the most important. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. Usually it would be breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. Choose foods high in fiber. So instead of white bread choose whole wheat and brown rice. Cut down on sodium because it will for sure bloat your stomach and watch the seasoning. I am not saying to take it out completely but remember in moderation.

6. Avoid alcohol. This will only give you more work.

7. Water. Whether you are doing this for abs or not you should be drinking water all the time. A good rule of thumb is to take your body weight, divide by 2, and that’s how many ounces you should drink. As an example, if you weigh 200 pounds, divide by 2, would mean to drink 100 ounces per day. I know it sounds like a lot but once you do it your body will want more. Trust me. Your body craves water.

I can say with complete confidence that if you do these things, people will be asking you how to get abs. Go for it!
