The Grand Plan For Those Sexy Abs In 30 Days

Achieving Sexy Abs is something that requires a planned effort. Here is a grand plan that will enable you to do this:

Deciding to lose the excess baggage

It is important for you to have a firm decision to lose your excess fat. This will help you to persevere, until you have reached the leaner body you have always wanted.

Eating a balanced diet

Losing weight does not necessarily mean that you have to miss meals and following fad diets. Eating a healthy and balanced diet is all you need to get that leaner body you have been dreaming about. You have to introduce healthier foods in your body and gradually reduce or eventually phase-out unhealthy foods.

Weight Lifting & Abdominal Training to sculpt your body

Week 1

Start light. Concentrate on taking on a whole body workout per session using lighter weights with up to 8 repetitions/set. Do 3 sets - with 1 exercise per body part, including the abs. Do this 3 times a week.

Week 2

Go with moderate weights. Do whole body workout still with the same repetitions, sets and exercises per body part. The abs should have 3 exercises with 3 sets each at 8 reps/set. Do this 4 times a week.

Week 3

Same set-up with week 2 - Use moderate weights still but there should be an increase in repetitions per set, preferably 12 reps/set. The abs should still have the 3 exercises, 3 sets each at 12 reps/set. Do this 3 to 4 times a week.

Week 4

Continue using moderate weights for a whole body workout per session with up to 12 reps/set - 3 sets - with 2 exercises per body part with limited resting period in between sets. For the abs, do the same for week 3. Do this 3 times a week.

Running towards a leaner body

One of the top activities that people can do to burn fat is running. Compared to any other cardiovascular activities, running can burn more calories per minute.

Running not only helps you lose weight but can also fight aging and generally makes you stay healthy. This exercise are also known to release happy hormones that makes one feel good.

Swimming for a total body workout

When you go for a total body workout, swimming can be one of your choices. This is usually known as a demanding exercise as you have to use all of your major muscle groups. It has different strokes like backstroke, free style, butterfly and breaststroke - which all involves the movement of arms and legs.

Swimming, which helps reduce fat, can also improve your muscles' strength and flexibility, enhance your body figure, your blood circulation, and can take away stress. This is a very good alternative to other fat-burning exercises in your program. Once or twice a week of swimming will be great.

Monitoring your progress·

Once you have achieved the leaner body you wanted, there is a need for you to monitor your weight. You may want to maintain a progress chart so you will have clearer view of your improvement.

You also have to monitor your eating habits, the quality of food you are taking in and the calories you are consuming per meal. Waist measurements are also indicators of any improvement resulting from your efforts. Your physical activities and the total calories burned per session may be recorded as well.

3 Simple Free Workout Routines to Get Six Pack Abs Without Doing 100 Abdominal Exercises

Will 100 sit-ups or crunches a day give you six pack abs?

Not in isolation and not while you have a layer of fat that covers your abs. Targeted exercises are a waste of time if they do not form part of a holistic plan. Body fat needs to be burned from the body as a whole, and not just the abdominal area.

Eating habits also need to be changed so that the body burns fuel more efficiently. Instead of eating 3 large meals a day, rather eat 6 smaller portions every day. A portion should not be bigger than your fist.

In addition to changing eating habits, these 3 simple routines will help you develop rock hard ribbed abs.

Interval Training This exercise routine includes intermittent bursts of hard rigorous action followed by a period of less strenuous activity.

Interval training is the fastest way to increase the metabolism rate. This allows the body to burn fuel and excess fat a lot faster. If you want ribbed abs to be visible, this is the quickest way to do it.

Interval training can be done on a track, park or road.

Sprint as hard as you can for 20 - 30 seconds followed by a brisk walk for 3 minutes. Repeat this exercise 5 times in a session. For optimal results, do this exercise for a minimum of 3 times a week.

Leg lifts Lay on your back keeping your hands behind your head.

Using your abdominal muscles, lift your legs to approximately 60 degrees from the floor and hold them there for 10 seconds. Then let them down slowly without letting them touch the floor.

Start off with 3 times 10 - 15 reps and work yourself up to 3 times 30 reps.

It is better to do this exercise every second day. Do not do this every day. Your muscles need resting time so that they can build up.

Push-ups or chin ups These exercises can be used as complimentary exercises. Did you know the abdominal muscles support the other muscles during exercise?

Try doing just 3 times 10 push-ups or chin-ups every second day and watch your abs become hard and ribbed.

To prevent injury and straining, do the different exercises on alternate days. For Example, don't do the leg-lifts and push-up on the same day as the interval training.

Please understand that a well designed exercise program is the best way to develop six pack abs without the risk of injury. This also ensures that you get maximum results in the shortest time frame possible.

Quick Washboard Abs

For those of you wanting to develop quick washboard abs, there is good news and bad news in store for you. The good news is that you can build washboard abs in very little time at all. The bad news is that it is definitely not going to be easy. Anyone who has a good body has worked hard for it, and if you think that you can get the results you want without sweating for them, you are going to be disappointed.

Quick washboard abs must necessarily start with a change to your diet. Any foods with high fat content, low or inefficient protein structures and not enough fiber can be devastating to your abs. Eating a high protein diet is not enough, and you need to balance that protein with a lot of fruit and as little fat as you can. If you eat protein and fat together, your body would much rather use the fat for fuel than the protein, and you will not be able to make use of all of that protein you are eating.

The key to getting quick washboard abs is to eat a high-protein, low-carb meal at least two hours before you exercise. A piece or two of fruit should accompany this, to give you enough energy and sugar to want to exercise in the first place! A protein shake made of whey protein is an excellent way to prep for your workout, but make sure you eat nothing for an hour before you hit the gym. Your after meal workout is also essential, because your body has used up a lot of its fuel breaking down your muscles, and needs more protein to build them up and sugar to keep your blood glucose levels where they should be. Remember that maintaining healthy eating is absolutely essential when you want to build muscle or burn fat – without the right nutrition your efforts will be wasted.

Quick washboard abs are all about the exercises you do, and a lot of people misunderstand the exercises they need to perform to develop muscles quickly and keep them. Begin your workout with ten minutes on a treadmill or bicycle – this will speed up your respiration and metabolism, making it easier for your muscles to get the fuel they need to bulk up. Forget about sit ups and crunches – do slow, heavy resistance exercises with long time intervals. Your stomach is one of the few areas that can handle a very long time interval, and doing fewer reps can greatly reduce the damage you do to your hips, neck and back.

Experiment with different exercises to avoid sit ups and crunches. These will work, but they will definitely not get you quick washboard abs. Use leg lifts, vertical bicycle kicks and water aerobics to get the most out of your time at gym. One new exercise that is helping a lot of people develop washboard abs is based on a push-up, believe it or not. Get two dumbbells with round weights, place them on the floor and take up the push up position, leaning on the dumbbells. Now roll one forward without moving your other hand, stretching your body at an angle. Roll back, and roll the other side forward, using your still arm as an anchor.

After only two reps you should start to feel a massive burn in your sides and lower abdominals. Do three sets with low reps and long time intervals, and you should develop quick washboard abs in no time at all! The best part about this exercise is that it puts almost no strain on any part of your body besides your stomach.
