How To Get Abs Without The Boring Ab Routine

So you really want to know what the best ab workout is for losing stomach fat, right???

Are you ready for the answer?

There are none.

Doing ab workouts don't help you lose fat around your waist line; they only help develop your core muscles. Do as many abs routines as you wish and you will never burn the fat off your mid section, but there is a way though.

Read On...

As a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Expert, and Fitness Coach, I often get people asking me this one question; "Dean, what are the best types of exercises and workouts that are for losing stubborn stomach fat in order to bring out visible six pack abs?"

Here's the problem. Most people that have excess stomach fat are usually looking for a "miracle ab workout" that is going to have them ripped with abs in not time. The only thing is that this is not a reality. They are going about it the wrong way. You don't lose stomach fat by doing a "miracle ab workout." Although it will help you develop your abs but not lose the fat around your abs. You get abs by doing compound workouts targeting your whole body, and eating well.

When you focus your time and effort on ab workouts and ab exercises to flatten your stomach and bring out those 6 pack abs the sad truth is your wasting your time. You need to do the correct workouts that will actually help reduce your stubborn body fat for good.

The answers I give my clients when they ask for the best workout for their abs, and for loosing belly fat is that I tell them to include a full body workout. A full body workout can include the exercises listed; lunges, a variation of squats, clean & presses, dead lifts, snatches, presses and pulls, swings, sprinting, mountain climbers, etc.

These exercises are known as compound movements. Movements that include many other muscle groups rather than the one being isolated; these maximize your full body burning potential also known as your metabolism. Your metabolism is sent into high speed and turns into a fat burning machine. Soon enough you will reveal your abs, if you follow the advice.

When I evaluate my clients, I still recommend working on the core and abdominals, but only the exercises that are designed to strengthen the mid section. I focus on getting my clients more bang for the buck per say. Getting them result in a timely manner, and stimulating more muscles in less the time. A full body routine that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes within the body.

When you train with these compound movements, you are stimulating your mid section. These exercises aren't specific to your abs, but they do work them, a lot. The body can gain much more benefit when it is trained using multiple-joint workouts.

In order for you to actually see your abs you need to know that your nutrition is the most important ingredient. It doesn't matter how hard you train, or how many time you are in the gym. If your diet sucks, than don't expect to see any results! Nutrition is the key if you want to ever see your abs.

Let's take a moment and clear up the confusion;

You don't need to waste time with ab exercises to see your abs. Stop wasting your time doing sit ups, crunches, leg raises, etc. Just add old fashion high intensity full body workouts to your routine. With this said, add that to a healthy diet full of unprocessed foods in there most natural state and you will see your abs in no time.

Not Beginner, Not Intermediate But Advanced Abs Exercise

For professional level ab workouts, the cable crunch is the best exercise which you may perform because you can adjust the resistance substantially by adding weights to the stack on the cable pulley. This type of variation to regular crunch ab workouts is great for long time and experienced body builders. If you are just in the beginning stages of it, it is suggested that you try out the basic crunches first before progressing upwards as your ab muscle endurance increases.

Set up the equipment you will use in your ab workouts by attaching a rope handle to a high cable pulley, and placing a light weight to the stack as initial resistance. Position your body for the ab workouts by kneeling on the floor with your back to the equipment, and your head slightly nodded with your eyes focused downwards. In this position in yours your upper legs should be at an angle of 90 degrees with respect to the floor, and your torso almost parallel to it. Slightly arching your back, hold the ends of the rope in each hand with your hands above your head.

Begin by pulling the rope towards your knees and down to the floor, while keeping your pelvis and your lower back stationary in the process. Stop pulling just before your head reaches the floor and contract the tensed abs for two counts for maximum effect in your ab workouts.

Finish off the exercise by carefully allowing the weights to pull back your body towards your starting position. Allow the weights to pull your back past the upright position in order to stretch your abs a little further than the usual. Take a breathing pause, and then contract your abdominals again, until you have performed the required number of repetitions.

The Real Secret To Six Pack Abs

Usually, I perform my workouts at my private training facility which is nice because I don't have to deal with a crowded gym. It allows me to get in and out without spending more time than I have to in the gym.

I do have a public gym membership which allows me to train on my off days away from work since the gym is only a few blocks away from my home. Today was one of those days I chose to train at the public gym.

As I walked in I noticed an infomercial on one of the big screen television sets on the wall. The informercial was for a new kind of ab training device. Now, usually I don't pay too much attention to these infomercials, but this one caught me eye.

Not, because it was some revolutionary ab training device, but because of how it is being marketed. It looks somewhat like one of those big stability balls you see at almost every gym/health club these days.

But, it is a bit longer which provides more support for your body. And that's how it is being marketed. As a comfortable alternative to a stability ball which is meant to reduce potential low back pain.

Sounds great doesn't it? So, why was I shaking my head in disbelief?

It's because just about everything in fitness today is marketed toward being easy and comfortable. Think about it. Almost all the machines you see at your gym are designed to be performed sitting down in a stable seat.

Some machines even have seat belts so you can brace yourself in the thing. Again, comfortable. People like to be comfortable. But, there is a big drawback to this thing of comfort.

What so many people fail to realize is that the reason why 99% of the low back pain population exists is because their bodies have lost the ability to properly use their muscular system to stabilize themselves.

This is even more important when it comes to abdominal training. Many people claim to experience low back pain while performing exercises on the stability ball. This happens because the stability requires you to properly use your abdominals and hips to stabilize your body while you perform the exercise.

Unfortunately, so many people cannot do this and as a result their bodies develop compensatory strategies to perform the exercise. Compensatory strategies are the body's way of performing a movement and are very inefficient often resulting in pain and/or injury.

And, the more training is performed on comfortable machines that have reclined seats and seat belts and do all the stability work for you, the more your body loses its ability to be able to use its own muscles to provide stability.

To illustrate this better think about how you move outside of the gym in your everyday life. We all walk up stairs, lift laundry baskets, unload groceries from the car, reaching up in the kitchen cabinet, carrying our children, playing sports and on and on it goes.

When your body cannot stabilize itself properly pain and/or injury is eventually the end result. That is why you probably know of someone who hurt their back lifting something very light off the floor or while bending over doing something.

Crunches and sit-ups are just not the entire picture when it comes to developing lean, well-defined and strong abs. In fact, crunches and sit-ups are the main exercises in almost every "core" and ab routine out there today and are 5 reasons why people end up with low back pain There is an entire host of movement patterns our bodies were designed and meant to perform. We performed them as babies. Our bodies were meant to bend, extend, laterally bend, twist and turn and much more.

There are 2 exercises that are not ab exercises but they will help flatten out your midsection faster than most others.

The Truth About - Six Pack Abs

The Truth About Six Pack Abs is a new publication that offers help for 'all frustrated six pack seekers'. It appeals to the masses by rejecting other such publications claiming that they are fraudulent and do not work. Instead it recommends customers towards their product which concentrates on a tight diet and various abdominal exercises.

The book is a lot more scientific that other ones that I have read in that it really digs deep into the diet side of the equation. The writer clearly believes that the key to success when it comes to having perfect abs is having a diet that will compliment your body well.

This un-revolutionary publication uses tried and tested methods to give a sensible, down to earth and guaranteed to work fitness plan which has been proven by none other than hard, solid science. The world revolves around facts and these particular ones are the straightforward path to glory, pure and simple.

Not only do they tell you which exercises you should undertake, they tell you how to do your abs exercises properly so that energy is not wasted on something that will not benefit you in the long term. Not only is this good from a safety point of view, it also means that your exercises are more efficient and you get the most out of what you do.

The main consumers that will be targeted by The Truth About Six Pack Abs are those individuals that have had several difficulties and have been ripped off by programmes that never seem to work, prompting the consumer to give up after a short space of time. After doing my research on Mike Geary, the guy appears to be genuine and his main goal, aside from making money, is to specifically satisfy those mentioned above.

The thing that I like about The Truth About Six Pack Abs is that it touches on the psychological side of things which are often ignored when it comes to trying to get your body in the best possible shape. It gives motivational tips that will keep you going whereas with other products without mental guidance it is likely that you would simply give up. These tips will enable you to think positively about all phases of your fitness programme, and although they are scarce in places, Truth about Abs still contains more than enough psychological guidance, more than other such products anyway.

My name is Gary Everson and I have specialized in nutrition and fitness for more than 20 years. I have experience as a personal trainer and offer fitness and nutritional advice. The Truth About Six Pack Abs is a fitness program which straightens out all of the fluff and fallacy that is currently in circulation about getting washboard abs. It has been written by fitness expert Mike Geary after years of practical application and after countless hours of research in preparation of this complete solution.
