5 Surefire Ways Not to Have Six Pack Abs

1) Eat and Drink Whatever You Want.

Keep eating the fried food, take aways, fast food and other fatty foods.

And why not include the soda drinks, diet sodas and beer to make a perfect meal.

It's Great for your belly fat.

Keep exercising without a proper diet, you'll have no six pack.

Diet is the most important key factor and after all, losing the stomach fat that is covering the abs is the MOST important aspect when trying for flat abdominals.

Plan your nutrition in advance, to avoid dietary downfalls.

2) Do as Many Sit ups, Crunches and Other Stomach Exercises.

It doesn't really matter how you well perform the stomach exercises, just aim for as many repetitions.

Not only will sit ups and stomach crunches harm the lumbar spine in your lower back, there are not effective and offer very resistance on your abdominals.

Besides, it doesn't really help in developing your core - nor reveal your stomach muscles.

So stop pumping away with all kinds of different abs-specific exercises.

3) You Can Lose Tummy Fat With Crunches

Again do as may crunches, and you will lose that stubborn belly fat!

Not...

The truth is, you don't lose belly fat by doing exercises that target the stomach area.

The only way to reduce stomach fat is with a good total body exercise program that indirectly work the abs and the entire "core" area, and - eating a healthy diet.

Try to incorporate compound movements that targets the largest portions of your body as it greatly stimulates the fat-burning hormones within your body.

4) Infomercial Products Will Help You Get a 6-pack

Listen to the promises and start buying them now before the product runs out!

Waste your hard earn money!

Forget the gimmicks or ab gadgets, and save your money and time.

You can't expect anything you order from TV to help you get a six-pack.

Proper nutrition and proper training achieves results.

5) Train Your Abs Daily

C'mon...let's do the crunches, and sit ups everyday.

And If you forgot point 2 and point 3, stomach exercises do not work.

So avoid the stomach exercises that are too easy, where someone can do 50 or 100 repetitions.

Instead, focus on higher resistance exercises that actually stimulate the muscle fibers to a much greater degree, and get your repetitions down.

Look at twice a week training the abdominals, using multi joint exercises (or non conventional exercises) such as Mountain Climbers, Stability Ball Jackknives, and hanging leg raises with a proper "pelvic curl up" to reduce the stress on your low back.

Ripped Abs - 3 Exercises To Get Them Fast

Getting RIPPED ABS fast is easier than you think because instead of the typical ab routines that we see so often with crunches, sit-ups, leg lifts, etc... there are better options for metabolism-boosting high intensity workouts that work your entire body while also working your abs.

I will illustrate for you some great "ab workouts" to give you super ripped abs that doesn't include any direct "ab exercises" at all. It's in a three-set format (similar to a super-set but alternating between 3 exercises) which results in nice abs after following these ab workouts.

Here goes:

1a. Renegade Dumbbell Rows
2a. Front Squats with Barbell
3a. Mountain Climbers on Floor

A good repetition scheme to employ here could be 3-4 sets of 8 reps for each exercise, or more sets for less repetitions, such as 5 sets of 5 repetitions of each exercise. Mountain climbers can be done for a time interval (such as 30 seconds) instead of "reps".

Exercise Descriptions:

1a. Ripped Abs Renegade Dumbbell Rows

These are done starting in a push-up position with the hands on 2 dumbbells. You then row one dumbbell up while stabilizing your body with the other arm. Bring the dumbbell back to the ground and alternate the rowing arm while stabilizing with the opposite arm. This stabilizing effect during the rows creates incredible work for your entire midsection core area, thereby working those abs incredibly hard. You'll feel it in the abs and definitely be pleased with the results once you begin seeing those ripped abs!

2a.Ripped Abs Front Squats with Barbell

For another great exercise to really get those abs ripped and looking nice, here goes. Front squats are done similar to back squats, however with the barbell in front of your body on the front of your shoulders instead of resting on the upper back as in back squats. You stabilize the barbell on your shoulders by crossing your arms and pushing your fists into the bar against your shoulders while keeping your elbows out in front of the body.

This takes a little practice at first, so you will want to seek a professional trainer at your gym to help you with the form, never at the first try, go it alone. Front squats require extreme stabilization strength from the abs due to the barbell weight being shifted to the front of the body instead of the back. Even though this is mostly a leg exercise, you'll feel this one in the abs big time all the time, giving that perfect ripped abs effect overtime.

3a.Ripped Abs Mountain Climbers on Floor
Mountain climbers are done by starting in a push-up position and then shuffling your feet in and out so that your knees are moving in under your chest and then back out to starting position. It sort of resembles climbing a mountain but flat on the floor, great fun and hey it may help improve your dancing too. If you want an advanced version, you can also shuffle your hands 8-10 inches forward and backward in addition to the leg movements. This really makes it a full body exercise and MUCH more difficult than standard mountain climbers. This gives a great workout to the abs and you should start seeing that effect almost immediately.

After finishing each exercise, rest about 30 seconds before starting the next exercise. Rest about 1-2 minutes after completing each "tri-set" before repeating as it's unwise to rush into any exercise.

This will give you one of the best ab workouts you've ever had without even doing any direct ab exercises. Try it and you will see and feel the effects immediately!

These are just a sampling of some of the killer ideas and exercises to give nice abs which you'll discover if you grab a copy of this great ebook at http://ripped-abs-workouts.blogspot.com on getting awesome ripped abs. Not only will you receive a complete blue-print for challenging full-body and ab workouts that will thoroughly define your entire body in addition to your abs but you'll also gain a thorough understanding of what types of nutritional strategies and other lifestyle aspects that it takes to really see visibly ripped abs.

How To Get Flat Abs Fast

Lets face it, the abdominal muscle group is the center piece on any muscular body. The reason why is because of the science of aesthetics. The eye will naturally follow the V shape of wide shoulders and a small set of abs. This V shape makes the eye settle at the abs which is why the abdominals are so popular as a body part to work on.

But there is some bad news. Most people are very confused about getting a flat, lean, ripped set of abs. Many people give up because of the phenomenon I am about to share with you now. People get confused about the V shape. The reason why a muscular body is so much more appealing with a nice set of abs is because of the differential dimensions between the shoulders and the torso. The wider the shoulders and the smaller the torso, the more satisfying the body is to look at. The eye searches out that V shape.

But what do we do when we decide to get a real nice set of abs? What can we do? We do what all the trainers suggest and that is to work them. To do ab crunches and sit ups. Makes sense? Of course it does...or does it? When you work your abdominals, you GROW them. I hope you just read that, it is the most important point on this page!

When you grow your abdominals you reduce the differential between the top of the wide V shape and the narrow tapered bottom, the abs, because the abs are getting thicker and wider. When we begin to work the abdominals, we grow them. The abs naturally respond to the strain you apply to them. If you also have a layer of fat across your abs, this along with the now larger abdominal muscle group begins to dominate your physique and shape. Make sense?

The abs are a large muscle group that respond very effectively to resistance training. They can easily be ripped. But we are not trying to grow this responsive muscle group. We are trying to create the V shape taper that the eye naturally seeks out. so the job is essentially to reduce your body fat percentage. Increase the size of your shoulders arms and chest (which can never be too big) and make the skin across your abs as thin, tight and supple as possible. The good news is, groveling on the floor doing back breaking sit ups is completely unnecessary on an ongoing basis. You do need to do some crunches to get them to respond, but the abdominals is one muscle group that you don't need to grow too big!

Nope - You Won't Get 6 Pack Abs By Doing Crunches All Day

Well my friend, you have lead down the wrong path. Although there is a bit of truth in that sentence you are only being told part of the story. Right now you probably already have a good set of abs, not great, but good. Unfortunately your abs are covered with a thick layer of fat and no how many crunches you do, they won't get rid of that belly fat. In order to get rid of that fat you need two things; cardio and a good healthy diet. You mean I can't eat junk food, do my crunches and get rock hard abs? No. If it were that easy we would all be walking around showing off our beautiful 6 packs, but instead, most of us have a gut and unless we work hard at burning off that fat, no exercise or exercise machine is going to do us much good.

Let's get right down to it.

First, stop eating all that junk food. You know, the energy drinks, fat laden lattes and triple layered burgers. Learn to eat vegetables and fruits. I am not saying that you need to love them, just eat them. Both veggies and fruits give our bodies the energy and nutrition that it needs. They are both also low in fat and calories and full of fiber which will help you stay full longer. Then add in some non-fat dairy products, 100% whole grain breads and lean meats. Don't let fruits and veggies be last on your list of foods to eat, let them be first. Once you start to rely on good healthy food, you'll notice that you have more energy.

Now that your energy level has been raised lets talk about cardio. So what is cardio? Cardio is just another buzz word for aerobics. Aerobics sounded too structured with having to take classes and all, so people started to use the term cardio to let you feel less intimidated. Cardio is basically any exercise (or sport, or game)that raises your heart rate to it's ideal level and sustains it for 30 plus minutes. Cardio can be as simple as brisk walking 45 minutes a day, playing racquetball, swimming or some activity more advanced like jogging or running. If you have an older, push type lawnmower and it takes you 30 minutes to mow your lawn you can consider it, cardio. To get the best fat burning benefits from cardio you should your activity at least five times a week and try to push for a 45 minute time frame each session. As cardio will raise your heart rate be sure that you start off slowly if you have not be working out for a while and it's always smart to get a full physical and get the go ahead from your doctor.

Ok, now that you have cleaned up your diet and have started to add cardio to your life, you can proceed to do your crunches. This time however, you will see the results you are looking for...6 pack abs that everyone will envy.
