How To Get 6-Pack Abs Quickly At Home - The Shocking Technique Of The Alphabet

Do you want to use exercise equipment to get 6 pack abs quickly without having to go to the local gyms to do it? Here is some good news for you: you don't need to go anywhere to get those 6 pack abs!

To get your 6 pack abs quickly, one of the most efficient exercises remains the classic abdominal crunch: lie on the floor with your arms across your chest or your hands held firmly and tightly behind your head. Keep your feet on the floor. Tighten your abs and slowly curl your shoulders up off the floor one inch. Curl your shoulders up toward your knees until your shoulder blades come up one to two inches off the floor. Hold the position for 7 seconds and then return to the starting one.

Another very effective exercise is the bicycle: forget doing hundreds of crunches, if you want a flatter belly and defined abs the bicycle is your better choice as it will target both your upper and lower abs. Lie on the floor on your back. Now bring your knees to a 90 angle, place your hands behind your ears and gently move your legs back and forth as if you were riding a bicycle.

My favourite abdominal work out is definitely the alphabet: lie on the floor with your arms stretched and hold tightly something behind your head-a chair or something you can really hold on to-. Stretch your legs as well and keep them straight parallel to the ground. Then, and slowly keeping your legs straight, move them a few inches off the ground. Do the first letter of the alphabet, A, with your legs starting on the left, moving up in an oblique way to get to the top of your A and then moving down. Next move on to B, then, C etc., making sure that you follow the shape of the letter you are up to. This is the fastest way to actually visualize your progress: at the beginning you are going to start with the letter A and slowly make your way through the alphabet! By the time you are able to shape the letter Z with your legs, you will be very close to having six pack abs!

You must always remember that having six pack abs is a matter of having the right balance: if you have excess fat, you can exercise all day long and you will never see those 6 pack abs. That is why it is so important to balance specific abs exercises with appropriate cardio vascular training.

Stationary bikes are one of the most common at-home exercise options. Most people invest in a stationary bike for their exercise routine because it's one of the easiest things to do to stay in shape, and you can ride while watching television or listening to the radio. Because it's not complicated to use, it gives a person satisfaction in knowing that they accomplished their exercise routine for the day. Not only will it tone up you abs but it will help tone other parts of your body as well: it is a very comprehensive exercise.

If you do aerobics for your exercise routine, you should consider using a stepping block in your aerobic program. The step increases your calorie burning and helps tone up your legs and buttocks. The steps can be adjusted to the height you need for your personal fitness program and they're easily stored away in a closet. The more you do it, the more weight you lose and the closer you get to your objective: getting 6 pack abs quickly. There are also more expensive exercise equipment options to choose from. The more popular ones include the treadmill, the rowing machine, stair climber and skiing machines. These are much bigger and aren't moved around very easily.

There are a myriad of exercises you can do at home to help you get 6 pack abs quickly. You don't even need to get out of your place. So just get yourself into the right frame of mind, stop reading and get started now!

Lose Belly Fat - 4 Tips To Get Ripped Abs Without Sit Ups And Crunches

Do you spend hours doing crunches or sit ups and yet, you are not getting ripped or six pack abs? Chances are you've been doing it all wrong!

It's a common mistake in most people who want visible abs to do abdominal exercise only. Sure, you develop abdominal muscle but it's only hidden under a layer of fat. In fact, you may find your ab getting bigger as a result of the increased muscle mass.

If you want visible abs, your focus should be on reducing excess body fat.

Low body fat = ripped abs

You achieve low body fat by burning more calories than you consume.

Here are 4 tips for losing belly fat effectively and permanently.

1. Interval training

Research has shown that interval training is more superior to slow, steady cardio for fat loss. Your metabolism remains elevated post workout, thus resulting in the after burn effect. Effectively, you continue to burn calories even after an interval workout but not after a long, steady cardio workout.

Also, if you don't have long hours to spare in the gym, interval workouts enable you to achieve the most fat loss in the least amount of time. Some examples of interval workouts are wind sprints, hill sprints, swimming sprints and speed rope jumping. You can also do intervals on a treadmill, stationary bicycle, stairclimber, rower and elliptical machines.

2. Nutrition

Proper nutrition is the key to fat loss. No matter how much or hard you train, you'll never get visible abs if you live on crisps, sodas, fast food, cookies and other crap. Don't fall for any of the low carb, low fat, high protein and other fad diets. Instead, eat a healthy and well balanced diet that includes various food groups - carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins and minerals.

Eat 5-6 small meals a day to keep your energy levels stable. Choose wholesome, natural foods, preferably organic, and avoid processed foods. Avoid refined and simple carbs that contain white flour and white sugar. Your main sources of carbohydrates are fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

Include a source of high quality, lean protein with every meal. There are several benefits to consuming lean protein. Your body burns more calories from digesting protein than carbs or fats. Protein keeps hunger at bay and gives you a feeling of satiety. It is also necessary for building lean muscle that controls your metabolism and burns calories.

Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and to speed up fat loss.

Consume healthy fats from avocado, flax seed (or flax oil), nuts, seeds, fish (or fish oil), etc. Essential fatty acids help to regulate appetite and burn fat.

3. Resistance training

Resistance training not only sculpts your body but is important for building muscles. Like interval training, it raises your post workout metabolism so your body continues to burn calories even when you are doing nothing.

Aim for low rep resistance training, i.e. 8 reps per exercise, as it has been shown to boost metabolism after the workout.

If your goal is to burn fat, don't isolate your body parts by training certain muscle groups using single-joint movements. Isolation exercises such as leg extension, bicep curl and tricep kickback burn little body fat. Shift your focus from single-joint to multi-joint muscle movements such as squats, lunges, split squats, pushups, chinups, rows, step ups and deadlifts. These are full body movements that work many muscles at one time, burn more calories during each workout and increase your metabolism post workout.

4. Reduce stress

Stress has been associated with belly fat. In stressful situations, your body releases a stress hormone called cortisol. Excess cortisol production leads to build up of belly fat. A fat belly is more than ugly looking. Accumulated fat in the abdomen increases your risk of developing high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

Be aware of your stress level and learn to manage it through yoga, meditation, qi gong, tai chi and other stress reduction techniques. The truth is there's no quick fix for losing belly fat. Forget about ab gadgets, diets or magic pills that promise to give you lean abs. They are nothing but scams.

The good news is that you can attain a set of lean or six pack abs through a healthy diet plan and effective training program that promote fat loss.

Before you even think about buying Mike Geary's book, The Truth About 6 Pack Abs, make sure you read this article.

Now, I'm not going to lie, most books that you will ever read regarding acquiring the ultimate set of Abs are nothing but absolute crap and once you have read one of them, you have pretty much read all of them. Most of them tell you the basic stuff, like do your crunches and your cardio and that fat will come right off. Well the truth of the matter is, is that by doing just these things you aren't going to obtain the ultimate set of Abs that you so desperately desire. Of course they will be an improved set of Abs but they definitely won't be what you had in mind.

When I first went over to Mike's site and read his sale page I most definitely thought it was another load of crap that was just a bunch of hype, but because I've been hearing a lot about it lately I decided to make the purchase anyway. It also helped that he has a 100% 8 week money back guarantee if I wasn't satisfied with it.

Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised by the useful and meaty information that I found inside this 106 page book that didn't just tell me to eat my fruits and vegetables and do my crunches and, viola, all my problems would be solved.

Instead, I found that Mike confronts popular myths that people believe when it comes to flattening your midsection. He also goes into detail with PROPER exercises you should be doing and he discusses diet and possible meal plans you should be following; however, most of the book focuses on Ab exercises and strength training, which is where a lot of people mess up when it comes to achieving an awesome set of Abs.

It is strength training your core area that is going to give you your phenomenal Abs and Mike show's you exactly how you go about doing this.

Mike begins the book by going over the abdominal areas in your midsection which is vitally important to understand because a lot of people are doing the wrong exercises for a area they are TRYING to target. Little do they know that they are missing the mark. Then Mike follows up the rest of the book with various different exercises you should be implementing into your daily routine. He also, gives you little tricks along the way that will make your workouts the most effective.

Although many people are familiar with the expression "six pack abs", for the most part people aren't as familiar with eight pack abs.

So how do you achieve eight pack abs? The identical method that you would go about getting six pack abs, naturally. The only distinction here is that you are now aware of the prospect of getting eight pack abs, and that you can work your way towards this objective. Yes, the same way as for a six pack, but what can you do to first start the process then to make sure that you keep the momentum going and get to your aim without becoming excessively side tracked.

Well, first of all, you should preferably take a good long hard look at your diet and cut out those foods and things which are not only bad for you, but which you know are certainly harmful to you! Starting here, is the best idea and you could do no better than to go out and get yourself a healthy eating book to help you out in your activities aimed at getting eight pack abs.
