Six Pack Abs is a 3 Step Process

I have been receiving tons of questions in regards to burning fat around the midsection and how to get 6-pack abs...

I will be straight to the point with you about how to get six pack abs.

It's a 3 step process.

The first step is to take control of your metabolism.

The next step is to eat supportively

The final step is to complete a full body workout that is geared towards working as many muscles at once as possible.

Let's break that down a bit more.

Step one: Take control of your metabolism

The way we do this is to stabilize your blood sugar levels. If your blood sugar levels are stable than the hormone that releases fat or liberates fat from your body is able to work. That is good news. On the other side of things, if you have an unstable blood sugar level then a hormone called insulin will work and insulin job is to stabilize your blood sugar. It does so by trapping the excess sugar and storing it as fat.

So if you are able to limit, not restrict, and simply limit your sugar intake to a reasonable amount you will notice that your body will be able to burn fat more efficiently.

Part 2 of the process is to eat supportively. A lot can be said about eating supportively. In fact people have written hundreds of books about supportive eating. Basically supportive eating is really simple. It's eating meals that will support your lifestyle and will enhance your quest for building lean muscle mass. This will involve eating a lot of proteins and cutting back a little bit on the carbs and fats. Again I must warn you: DO NOT COMPLETELY LAY OFF THE CARBS OR FAT. It is so important to note that because carbs are where your body gets its energy from. If your body has no carbs to resort to for energy, your body will then resort to your muscles as energy and in effect eat away at your muscle (you grow weaker). Not good. So make sure you eat supportively.

The third step in this fat loss process is to follow workouts that will build you lean muscle mass and will shed fat. That sounds simple but yet it can be so difficult. I will be up front and honest with you. The majority of workouts that I see in magazines that promise 6 pack abs in 6 weeks or less are just a bunch of lies that get you to buy the magazine.

Six pack abs only become visible when your body fat is below 9% in males and 18% in females.

If you are able to understand that, then this next nugget of information will really make sense.

If your goal is to get down to 9% body fat, then it is obvious that you should build some muscle. The best and most efficient way to build muscle is to workout and do full body workouts. Full body workouts will incorporate as much muscle and therefore provide you with the greatest probability of gaining lean muscle mass.

Once you have added a few pounds of muscle and shed a few pounds of fat you will be able to see your six pack abs

Six Pack Abs - A Slight 'Tilt' And Results Sky Rocket

Here is a little something I like to get my clients to do when performing their 'floor crunches'. When on your back in a normal crunch your hips stay on the floor. Well, I have spent most of my life doing this alteration in my training. It changes the angles so slightly but the increase in tension on the abs and therefore the higher results are phenomenal. You don't need to do it every workout, but alternate it.

So, lie on your back. get into your normal crunch position and instead of having both feet on the floor and knees together, keep one in place, BUT then bring the other leg up and let it hang at 90 degrees. - IE so your knee is up, your shin parallel with the floor, AND THEN lift your hips slightly by brining one side of your 'butt' up off the floor an inch or two.

Now do your workout. 20-50 crunches with the leg held in that position. Stop, put it down then rest for a 10-20 sec break. Then repeat the next set with the other leg in the new position. I know this little elevation will do wonders for you and work muscle fibers you have not worked before by switching this exercise to a more 'core based' workout, because of the stability needed.

Best wishes, hope you like it. Like I said, alternate the legs and you will see a great response from particularly your lower core/abs and be on your way to six pack abs.

How To Get Flat Abs By Creating Muscle Tone Fast

Getting a slimmer waste line is on almost everyones agenda, but what about a bumpy, ripped set of flat abs? If you are going to put in the effort of trimming down, why not get a new set of abs, that will make your partner or significant other, very pleased.

If we feel our tummy right now, and push into it, more often than not it will be soft and quite a disappointment to feel. Quite likely it is even less impressive to look at. The reason why is because the muscles under the skin layer are probably atrophied and soft. This should alarm you! It would me, mainly for health benefits. You see if your abdominal muscle group is weak, it means you are using other muscles to support your posture. Back aches and pains in the lower back can result in the future.

You may notice quite commonly, that the stomach distends. If you relax it and look at the mirror sideways, you may see a circular shape, a pouch. What you are looking at is your organs and intestines pushing their way out. The abdominals job is to hold in your organs and inner workings. When they are atrophied, the result is the familiar pot belly.

So to get flatter abs, the first step is to reverse the atrophied abdominals so they are toned. When a muscle group is toned, it means it has a natural tension, even when relaxed, the muscle fiber is thicker and more dense, meaning the muscle group holds its shape without needing to be consciously tensed.

By creating that tone, your pot belly becomes less obvious and your inner organs and intestines are comfortably held in position by your abs.

The next step, after getting the muscle tone is to lower your over all body fat percentage, so the skin layer around your abdominals is thinner, in this way, the muscles you have developed will show through.

Reveal Your Abs Easily and Quickly Using Secret Diet Techniques and Work Out Methods

Before I go any further I want you to know that I understand how grueling abdominal workouts can be ! I personally have been brought up with a miss guided understanding of food and exercise and the end result was me pumping away doing hundreds of crunches a day to find out without several other systems in place your work is useless.

Please be assured in knowing you do have a six pack!

Yes that’s right I just sad you have a Six pack underneath your currently belly fat. Now having said that your goal should be to a learn methods to strip this fat away & methods to develop your abdominal region so they show even more.

Any fitness trainer is going to tell you no amount of exercising is going to get rid of that fat layer. Now you’re probably thinking after is this guy on about? J Well its true, without the correct body fuel, food portion sizes, self discipline and diet, ripped abs will most likely never happen for you. One without the other is not good! Why train for years to get what you can have in Months?

By eating 6 smaller meals per day, the metabolism is increased, and the fuel is then burned much more efficiently. Any excess fat will be used up at an increased rate. Please understand that a well thought out exercise regime in conjunction with good eating habbits is the best way to develop six pack abs without the risk of injury. This also ensures that you get maximum results in the shortest time frame possible.

Here are a couple abdominal exercises I currently have added to my workout. I have listed a resource below where you can find all you need to learn more specifics about diets, workouts & professional methods.

Barbell Ab Rollout

Equipment: Barbell

Tips: The elbows are to be locked and kept in a vertical line with the shoulders. Many ab wheel commercials show the user with their arms extended out but it is felt by some that this puts unnecessary stress on the shoulders and lower back. Keep the body locked in a straight position with no back "sag" when in the bottom position. All movement in this exercise is initiated by the hips, not the arms/lats. The emphasis should be on raising the butt as high as possible in a "piking" motion when in the upright part of the movement.

Cable Crunch

Equipment: Cable

Tips: Kneel below a high pulley. Grasp cable rope attachment and place wrists against the head. Flex hips slightly and allow the weight to hyper extend the lower back. With the hips stationary, flex the waist so the elbows travel toward the middle of the thighs. Return and repeat.
