Firmer Abs

Any woman who has ever despaired of firming up her flopping abdominal skin after the birth of a baby or any person discouraged by the appearance of his or her stomach following a large loss of weight should know that there is hope. An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to trim the abdominal area. It involves removing fat and skin from the area and tightening the abdominal muscles. This eliminates sagging and wrinkles and leaves the abdomen looking firmer.

This can be partial or complete. With a partial tuck, only a small incision is made, and the process usually takes one to two hours. In a complete abdominoplasty, the incision stretches from hip to hip. Much trimming and reconstruction is involved. With either a partial or complete tummy tuck, liposuction may be required for fine sculpting.

Just because this is cosmetic, however, do not be fooled into thinking it is not a real surgery without risks. In fact, hospitalization is often required. It carries a significant recovery time, with initial recovery taking one to four weeks and a full recovery between three to six months. Even after that, scarring will be evident. A tummy tuck is definitely not to be taken lightly.

Not to be taken lightly, either, is your choice of surgeon. Choosing an unqualified surgeon can result in a nightmare. Everyone has heard horror stories of botched cosmetic surgeries. Take the time to do your research. Make sure you entrust your body to the best doctor available. It is also important to know the risks and side effects going in. A good surgeon will honestly discuss your expectations with you so you can be entirely comfortable with your choice to have a major cosmetic procedure such as a tummy tuck.

If you have worked to lose the weight, and you know it is what you want, go for it! But do not go into it blind. Know what you are in for before you go under the knife.

How to Work Your Lower Abs

Have great abs is one thing that is a must for every person. Doing the standard sit ups or crunches is a great way to start, but unfortunately they only target the upper abs. You need to work both the upper and the lower abs to have the six-pack you have always dreamed of. One way to do this is to do an exercise called the alternate arm/leg raise. It is a total ab workout that includes both your lower and upper abs.

It is very easy to do. You start out by getting on all fours. You want to stay stable and keep your back absolutely straight and aligned with your torso and spine. You simply kneel on the ground with your knees directly under your hips. Your hands should be directly under your shoulders. Your head should be straight out in front of you.

Slowly start to raise your arm in a 30 degree angle, away from your body with your hand pointed out. You then raise the opposite leg straight back. After holding this position for 10 seconds, you can switch sides. You want to do this at least 12 times per side. One you have done this for a few weeks and feel comfortable with it you can move on to something more challenging. You simply follow the exercise, but then instead of keeping your leg straight you want to circle your foot and hand while maintaining your complete alignment.

You can work your abdominal muscles everyday so be sure to get as much of a workout as possible to get the abs you really desire. You also want to build your overall health as well, because without losing weight and gaining muscles you won't have the best abs. How To Get Defined Abs For The Ultimate Body

The ultimate body shape, for men anyway, is the V shape. This inverted triangle shape is a natural shape that the eye is drawn to. The eye and the brain naturally look at the shoulders than rests at the abdominals to ascertain the slimness of that person. The differential between how broad and massive the shoulders are and the tightness and "smallness" of the abs is what the brain uses to perceive the fitness of the individual.

To get the ultimate body, you must have bumpy abs, or what is often referred to as the six pack. Without this detail a muscular body loses its legitimacy. You are often perceived more as fat than muscular until you have that six pack detail. The reason why is because of aesthetics and not muscles. When an area has no features it looks bigger because the eye has nothing to look at in the middle so it naturally follows the outline of that area. Because of this, an area is always perceived bigger when it is featureless, this is a well documented fact and known in scientific circles as an optical illusion.

If you have a thick layer of fat on your abdominals, what happens is that the details or definition of the muscles underneath are not visible. It is just a flat area with the belly button in the middle. The eye naturally traces at the edges because apart from the belly button there is no features to dwell on. This makes your torso look bigger not smaller.

There is a lot of confusion about abdominals. Specifically because what happens is this, we decide we want a nice tight set of abdominals, so what do we do about it? We train them of course. But something strange happens when we train them. The abs start looking worse, our body starts looking worse than before we put in the work! If you have a layer of fat on your tummy and on top of this layer, you enlarge your abdominal muscle group, what happens is the entire area gets bigger!!! But what we are actually after is the V taper. Large shoulders, small waste right? I hope this is making sense to you!

To get a defined set of abs you need to reduce your body fat percentage and not enlarge your abs too much. You want to train them to the point where they are bumpy. But that's it. Any more and your torso becomes too wide and that V shape becomes a square. Build shoulders arms and chest and reduce your body fat. Your abs will naturally show and be the focal point of your physique.

If you would like to get a six pack in 23 days or less, buy The "Abs In 23 Days" training program. You can learn more about this award winning, abdominal pumping, fat stripping product by clicking HERE

A Proven Strategy to Getting Toned Abs

Start working out today, and you can show-off your toned abs in time for summer. You have toned abs. Honestly, getting toned abs is just a matter of self-discipline.

A Proven Strategy to Getting Toned Abs When you are far from your goal of getting down to a low body fat level, it will be easy to drop body fat. Amazing Tip on How to Go From Toned Abs to Shredded Abs This is something I have never heard anyone talk about. Having strong, toned abs won"t only enhance your physical appearance, it"ll also increase your raw power and ability to perform many other physical activities at a higher level.

Let's go over a personal routine of workouts for toned abs that I implement. That is what many people think when they first hear someone telling them the secret to flat toned abs.

Many times an individual will have their upper abdominals developed but are lacking any real "visual" development in the lower abs. Lower Abs This is the bottom two muscles of a six pack (overhang). Standard tummy tuck procedure restores the shape of your highly disfigured lower stomach by removing excess fat and skin accumulated around the lower abs, tightening up the middle lower and middle abdomen and restoring the position of the naval.

Because a healthy colon is almost always reflected in a flat stomach (and-not to gross you out-odorless feces)So, use these tips on exercises for the lower abs to get the chiseled cuts you may have always wanted...they are right there if you reach for them. The first thing that you should understand is that just working the lower abs will not result in losing fat in that area. You can even do a reverse crunch to work on the lower abs.

Then exhale and use the lower abs to help push the breath out. You often hear people say things like "I need to work my lower abs cause they're lacking", well they can try as hard as they want but when you train your abs you train the entire muscle. This is not to say that these synergism muscles are not important and do not need training, I am just pointing out that most likely that is why you think that you "feel it" in your lower abs.

There are three exercises which I have used, they are categorized into Upper Abs and Lower Abs because not all of our abs are used when we simply do sit ups. Try a reps and really try to feel the lower abs working. It can be frustrating to keep trying to work the lower abs if you feel like you are not doing it right.

Option, which has longer time to expiry, has lower absolute theta value than option, which has shorter time to expiry. To focus on your shoulders, upper back, triceps, and lower abs, try an arm pullover.
